I actually enjoyed this book, I decided to pick it as it was an easier read compared to other books. I got stuck in straight away and got hooked! Sometimes I thought it was going a little off the point, but it came back to the story very quickly afterwards! It’s a fiction on the theme of romance, but not too romancey!
If that makes any sense, at all.. I am glad that there is a second story to this, as I would like to read about what happens next! I would tell you a description of the book, but it might give away a little too much – so I’ll get one from Amazon for you!
“The art of love is never a science: Meet Don Tillman, a brilliant yet socially inept professor of genetics, who’s decided it’s time he found a wife. In the orderly, evidence-based manner with which Don approaches all things, he designs The Wife Project to find his perfect partner: a sixteen-page, scientifically valid survey to filter out the drinkers, the smokers, the late arrivers. Rosie Jarman possesses all these qualities. Don easily disqualifies her as a candidate for The Wife Project (even if she is “quite intelligent for a barmaid”). But Don is intrigued by Rosie’s own quest to identify her biological father. When an unlikely relationship develops as they collaborate on The Father Project, Don is forced to confront the spontaneous whirlwind that is Rosie—and the realization that, despite your best scientific efforts, you don’t find love, it finds you.”
There you go, now you can judge for yourselves! But if you’re looking for an easy, but enjoyable read, then this might be for you! I have a feeling that this is being made into a film? Maybe it’s not, but I have a feeling! I will get researching for you all!
Have any of you read this book? What did you think? xx
