Want a great value hotel that is comfortable and in a great location?

I wasn’t intending on doing a review on the hotel, but we enjoyed it so much that I thought why not? Unfortunately, I don’t have many photos but you can see it in my California vlogs! Moving on..

You might know from my previous blog posts and vlogs that I recently visited California for D23, San Francisco and Disneyland. D23 was coming up very quickly, so we decided to head down to Anaheim a few days earlier than the convention. This was so we could enjoy Disneyland whilst it was quieter (not as many convention-goers) and we could settle first.

We decided to stay at Stanford Inn and Suites which was a 10 minute walk to Disneyland California and Adventure Park. It was also only a 5 minute walk to the Anaheim Convention Centre too, which was great!

What did you think of the hotel?

Stanford Inn and Suites was a really great choice! We loved stayed here so much and would love to return in the future. We would 100% rebook here. The hotel was perfect for our holiday, the rooms were much bigger than we expected which was great. It was also very comfortable and safe. We had two double beds each in the room, which were well needed after our trip to San Francisco with all of those hills!

The hotel room was very clean, housekeeping were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. You even have Mickey and friends on the walls in the room!

What do you think about the facilities?

At the hotel, they had safes in the rooms, bathtubs with the showers over head, a great buffet breakfast and they also help with VoluntEARS. I believe they also had a swimming pool too, but we didn’t have time to enjoy that.

What was in the buffet breakfast?

The buffet breakfast started off with your cereals, milk, yoghurts, fruit and granola. Each day they have a different fruit and are always stocked up. There is a coffee, tea, juice and water station for beverages. Moving on, there’s a waffle station where you can create your own and also order other items. We were in love with the Krave cereal, especially as it is much better than the UK version. It was really great to get up in the morning and be able to have a good breakfast before heading out. Also saves money when it comes to spending in the parks! The buffet run around the times of 6am-9.30am, I believe and that was on most days.

Would you recommend this hotel?

Definitely! I would recommend this hotel to a variety of people from individuals, business trips and families. We saw so many families here, but don’t get me wrong it wasn’t noisy at all. We had an amazing nights sleep every single night and did not hear a peep!

Also, a plus is that you can see the Disneyland fireworks from your bedroom which was great when our tickets run out and we were having Disney blues!

Not forgetting to mention, Stanford Inn and Suites have a lot of restaurants around them from Taco Bell across the road to iHop – a 5 minute walk away. There’s a Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy about a 15 minute walk away, and a huge Target 5 minutes away.

This hotel is very good value for your money and you will not be disappointed! Comfortable beds, very clean environment and rooms, pleasant staff that are always willing to help and there are so many restaurants and places to visit around the area.
